The Occupy Boston protesters have been camping out in the Financial District for the last week. The Boston Herald’s headline “Occupy Boston-Rebels or Whiners?,” is just another example of the negative energy surrounding the protest movement that has flourished across the nation. The general message of the demonstrators is that Wall Street is profiting, while the majority of Americans are struggling financially. They believe that the wealthiest should be taxed and the government should be creating jobs. Opponents have gone as far as calling the protesters “un-American,” which Jon Stewart deconstructs in this clip.
